About
London Pride is one of the largest Pride celebrations in Europe — a day-long parade and festival celebrating the LGBTQ+ community that fills central London with colour, music, joy, and solidarity. The parade typically runs from Hyde Park Corner along Piccadilly to Trafalgar Square, with floats, marching groups, dancers, and tens of thousands of participants representing organisations, charities, and community groups. The atmosphere is extraordinary — hundreds of thousands of people line the route, and the energy is joyful and inclusive. Trafalgar Square hosts a main stage with live music and speeches. Soho becomes one enormous street party. Events and parties continue across the city well into the night. It's simultaneously a political statement, a community celebration, and one of the best days out in London. The parade is free to watch. Various ticketed events happen alongside the main parade. Soho and Vauxhall host the most concentrated nightlife celebrations. The event typically takes place on the last Saturday of June or first Saturday of July. Arrive early for a good viewing spot along the parade route — Piccadilly and Regent Street are the most popular areas.
