Fabric is one of the most important nightclubs in the world, and that's not an exaggeration. Since opening in 1999 in a converted cold store in Clerkenwell, it has shaped electronic music culture globally. The club famously has a vibrating 'bodysonic' dancefloor in Room One that literally pulses bass through your feet — there's nothing quite like it anywhere else. The programming is consistently world-class across three distinct rooms. Friday nights (FABRICLIVE) tend towards drum & bass, grime, and hip-hop; Saturdays lean into house and techno. The sound system is extraordinary — designed specifically for the space and regularly upgraded. If you care about music, this is a pilgrimage. A few practical notes: the door policy is fair but firm, they don't tolerate antisocial behaviour, and the search is thorough. Dress comfortably — you'll be dancing. It doesn't really get going until after midnight, and the best DJs often play 3am-6am sets. Pre-book tickets online as weekend nights sell out regularly.
