About
Sound City is Liverpool's festival of new music — a multi-venue event across the Baltic Triangle that showcases the best emerging artists from the UK and beyond. Over 300 artists play across 15+ venues over three days, and the lineup consistently features bands and artists who go on to much bigger things. The festival format — multiple venues within walking distance — encourages exploration and discovery. You might catch an Afrobeat band in a warehouse, a synth-pop duo in a bar, and an experimental electronic set in a club, all in one evening. The programming has genuine curatorial vision. The Baltic Triangle setting gives the festival an industrial, creative atmosphere that suits the music perfectly. Wristbands give access to all venues. It's the kind of festival where the next big thing is playing to 50 people in a basement, and you get to say you were there.
