About

Stanhope Street, Baltic Triangle, Liverpool L8 5RE

Baltic Market is Liverpool's biggest and best food market — a huge converted warehouse in the Baltic Triangle that brings together the city's finest independent food traders under one roof. The space is industrial and atmospheric: exposed brick, high ceilings, and communal tables create a social atmosphere that's quintessentially Liverpool. The food offering is diverse and quality: wood-fired pizza, Korean fried chicken, loaded fries, bao buns, vegan burgers, fresh pasta, and more — all from independent traders who've earned their spot through quality. The bars serve craft beer, cocktails, and natural wine. Live DJs provide the weekend soundtrack. It runs Friday to Sunday and gets busy — arrive early (especially Saturday evening) for the best chance of seating. The market has become a genuine community gathering place and a launchpad for Liverpool food businesses. The Baltic Triangle neighbourhood around it is worth exploring too — independent bars, galleries, and creative businesses have colonised the old industrial district. Combined with a walk along the docklands, it's a perfect Saturday.
