Frieze London is one of the world's most important contemporary art fairs — four days in October when over 160 galleries from around the world set up in a vast temporary structure in Regent's Park. The fair showcases cutting-edge contemporary art alongside curated sections, installations, and talks. Frieze is where the international art world comes to see, buy, and be seen. The quality of the work on display is extraordinary — from emerging artists to blue-chip names. The curated sections (Frieze Focus for younger galleries, Frieze Masters for historical work) add depth. The sculpture park in the surrounding Regent's Park is free to visit. Tickets aren't cheap, but the concentration of world-class art in a single venue is remarkable. Frieze Week also sees galleries across London opening major shows, making the whole city an art destination. The atmosphere is buzzy, glamorous, and stimulating in equal measure.
