About
Brighton Pride is the UK's biggest LGBTQ+ celebration — a weekend of parades, live music, community events, and partying that transforms Brighton into a rainbow-draped carnival. The Saturday parade through the city centre draws hundreds of thousands of spectators, and the Pride Village Party and Festival in Preston Park feature major music headliners. The parade is free to watch and the atmosphere is joyful, colourful, and inclusive. The Pride Village Party in the Kemptown area has DJs, performers, and street parties. The Saturday night closes with a headline concert in Preston Park that has featured Kylie, Britney Spears, and other major acts. Brighton's LGBTQ+ community is one of the largest and most visible in the UK, and Pride here has a depth and authenticity that goes beyond a corporate rainbow. It's a celebration, a statement, and a party — and everyone is welcome.
