About
YES is a four-floor music venue, bar, and pizza joint in the Northern Quarter that has quickly become one of Manchester's most important live music spaces since opening in 2018. The building houses three distinct spaces: The Pink Room (intimate gigs and club nights), The Basement (the main live room with excellent sound), and the rooftop bar with pizza from the ovens up top. The programming is smart — breaking bands that are about to blow up, leftfield electronic nights, punk, indie, and everything in between. The bookers have a genuine ear for talent, and the 'I saw them at YES' stories are already accumulating. The sound system was designed by the same team behind the Warehouse Project. The rooftop in summer is one of the best outdoor drinking spots in Manchester — views across the Northern Quarter rooftops, wood-fired pizza, craft beer, and DJs. The whole building has a relaxed, independent spirit that feels authentically Manchester. Ticket prices are kept deliberately accessible. This is where Manchester's next musical chapter is being written.
