We The Curious
About
We The Curious (formerly At-Bristol Science Centre) is one of the best interactive science centres in the UK — a hands-on wonderland where children and adults can experiment, question, and discover across hundreds of exhibits. The planetarium is the only 3D planetarium in the UK and puts on genuinely impressive shows about the cosmos. The exhibits are designed to provoke curiosity rather than just deliver facts — you might find yourself building bridges, creating animations, experimenting with sound, or exploring how your body works. The live science shows are entertaining and genuinely educational. The approach is playful and inclusive, and the venue has won multiple awards for its innovative programming. It's right on Bristol's harbourside, making it easy to combine with a visit to the SS Great Britain, M Shed, or a waterfront walk. Allow 2-3 hours for a proper visit. School holiday periods are busy — weekday mornings in term time are much calmer. The gift shop is excellent for science-themed children's presents.
