Patterns
About
Patterns is Brighton's most forward-thinking nightclub — a seafront venue on Marine Parade that programmes some of the most exciting electronic music nights in the south of England. The space is split between the ground-floor bar (good cocktails, seafront views) and the basement club (low ceilings, serious sound system, no natural light — exactly how a club should be). The programming leans towards house, techno, bass music, and the kind of boundary-crossing nights that reflect Brighton's progressive music culture. Regular nights include established club brands alongside Brighton-specific events that nurture local DJs and producers. The sound system in the basement is excellent — the room is small enough to feel the bass in your chest. Patterns also hosts live music, comedy, and daytime events — the ground-floor bar is a pleasant enough place for a seaside drink. But the club is the main draw. Brighton has a long and proud nightlife tradition, and Patterns carries that forward with intelligence and energy. Fridays and Saturdays are the big nights. Pre-sale tickets are advisable.
